Make a Difference on #GivingTuesday

Dear Friends,

Today is #GivingTuesday, a movement to make the first Tuesday following Thanksgiving an international day of giving. In that spirit, we believe every single one of you has the power to make an impact.

Whether you are driven by helping AltaSea find ocean-related solutions to the planet’s most pressing challenges, or you’re excited about AltaSea’s role in boosting the local economy and the STEM education programs we’re bringing to Los Angeles schools, your action makes a difference.

The important work we are doing together will have an impact globally on ocean innovation, and locally here in our community. In fact, a new economic study commissioned by District 15 of the Los Angeles City Council repeatedly cites AltaSea as a critical part of Los Angeles’ waterfront development strategy. That means more jobs, new industries and a vibrant destination for people to gather.
