We are so thankful for our generous donors who enable AltaSea to lead on climate change and preserve the ocean through the blue economy.
Over the past year, we have expanded our education programming exponentially, bringing ocean science education to over 330 LAUSD schools and to households across the state with our online platform, Project Blue.
We’ve made sure that teachers have the resources they need to educate the next generation on our ocean.
Pre-Covid, we hosted a 12-week workshop in partnership with the Boeing Foundation for 63 Title 1 high school students to spur innovation in ocean STEM by learning how to build underwater remotely operated vehicles.
