AltaSea Open House: Charting the Course of AI in the Blue Economy

Join us on Saturday, Oct. 18, 2025, for an exciting Open House event at AltaSea at the Port of Los Angeles.
Join us for an exciting morning at the intersection of ocean innovation and artificial intelligence. “Charting the Course of AI in the Blue Economy” brings together pioneering entrepreneurs, AI experts, and sustainability advocates to explore how emerging technologies are transforming our relationship with the ocean. With speakers from Clean Earth Rovers, Kelp Ark, and Sperra, this open house is your chance to dive into real-world applications of AI that are shaping the future of the blue economy.
What’s the “Blue Economy,” and What Does AI Have to Do with It?
The blue economy refers to the sustainable use of ocean resources for economic growth, improved livelihoods, and ocean ecosystem health. From aquaculture and marine conservation to coastal infrastructure and waterway monitoring, the blue economy is rapidly evolving—and AI is playing a key role in that transformation.
This event is designed for innovators, students, workers, and curious minds looking to understand how artificial intelligence is being integrated into marine industries and what it means for the future workforce and environmental impact. Whether you’re already in the field or just starting to explore, there’s something here for you.
