Rusty Jehangir – Blue Robotics Founder and CEO

Rusty completed degrees in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering prior to founding Blue Robotics. Not long after attending USC, Rusty made the attempt to build a solar powered surfboard to autonomously travel from LA to Hawaii but could not find affordable thrusters. From there Rusty built his own company to provide affordable parts for smaller-scale remotely operated vehicles for ocean exploration. Today, Rusty employs almost 70 staff members.

This open house will also feature a Career Development Day.

High School Students – You are invited to AltaSea’s Career Development Day. Start-up entrepreneurs, scientists, and engineers will be available to speak with, learn from and establish a network.
