The climate crisis is real. But the solutions to climate change are just as real. These are the truths that motivate us here at the AltaSea campus—where ocean-based solutions to climate change are developed and created.

You don’t have to be a scientist to join the fight against climate change; there are many ways to take action. As a non-profit, we rely on the support of people like you in order to keep accelerating climate solutions. We created the UrgentSEA campaign because we believe everyone can do something to fight climate change, and every contribution matters.

With a one-time tax deductible donation as low as $20, you can support AltaSea and unlock the benefits of UrgentSEA membership. Join now to receive a 20% discount on tickets to AltaSea’s keystone annual celebration, Blue Hour.

Blue Hour always proves to be an inspiring evening—convening hundreds of people with shared interests in fighting climate change, cultivating healthy oceans, and creating economic opportunity for all. In addition to being a great way to cultivate hope and community in the face of the climate crisis, Blue Hour also raises funds for AltaSea’s Ocean STEM education programming for underserved youth.

This year’s Blue Hour will take place Saturday September 27th on the AltaSea campus. Guests will enjoy an evening of drinks, catered dinner, and an awards ceremony celebrating ocean leaders—all against the backdrop of the sun setting over the ocean at AltaSea’s Land’s End. Among the evening’s highlights will be the presentation of AltaSea’s Innovation Award to Emmy-winning chef and ocean advocate Andrew Zimmern, honored for his commitment to sustainability, ocean health, and responsibly sourced food. The award will be presented by lifelong ocean advocates, Philippe and Ashlan Cousteau.

Whether you attend Blue Hour, join UrgentSEA, or do both, taking action is the most effective way to fight climate change. There has never been a more urgent time to act. We thank you for your ongoing support.
